The dispute ignited when the Afrobeats artist commented on the intricacies of Nigerian politics with a tweet that read: "Nigeria politics and film trick 🤝 😂."
This tweet garnered a mixed bag of reactions from netizens, including one user, @lexyy4real, who accused Davido of quickly criticizing the country whenever the court ruled in favor of the APC.
