Notable skit maker and singer, Carter Efe, disclosed an incident where Afrobeat sensation Asake faced an unexpected interruption during a performance at the O2 Arena. Speaking on Spill With Phyna, Efe revealed that Asake's performance was cut short as they turned off his generator, signaling the end of his allotted time for the show.
They claimed that this was because his time for the show had elapsed.
He noted that Nigerian artists are constantly disrespected over there but we keep going.
The content creator questioned whether Phyna wouldn’t feel frustrated by the heat at Tafawa Balewa when she proposed that Nigerian artists get together and do shows there.
