Popular socialite, Mr Jollof has officially issued a writ of summons to Verydarkman, seeking N500M in compensation for alleged defamatory comments made about his wife. The legal battle stems from accusations raised by Verydarkman, claiming that Mr Jollof’s wife played a role in helping him secure a position as Senior Special Assistant (SSA).
This development follows a heated online exchange between the two some weeks ago, during which Verydarkman made these allegations, sparking a public feud. In response, Mr Jollof is now pursuing legal action to clear his name and defend his wife’s reputation, seeking significant damages in the sum of N500M.
In the writ of summon that was shared by Mr Jollof online, it was revealed that the activist has 30 days to appear before the court of law or else face consequences.
Additionally, the claimant, Mr Jollof, is seeking N500M in damages for the defamatory comments he had made.
