Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has recently sparked a range of reactions as she voiced her support for a peaceful protest amidst the ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance.
The actress, who is also the wife of billionaire businessman and senator Ned Nwoko, took to her Instagram page to share a video advocating for a peaceful approach to the protests, which began today, August 1st, 2024.

In her video, Regina Daniels emphasized that the widespread suffering of the masses and their desire for improved living conditions are the main drivers behind the nationwide protests.
She argued that while protesting is a valid means of expressing dissent, introducing violence undermines the purpose of the demonstration. She urged Nigerians to maintain peace during the protests to ensure their message is effectively communicated and acted upon.
Regina Daniels concluded her video with the caption: โA PLEA FOR A PEACEFUL PROTEST ๐โ
