A Medical laboratory technician based in Canada has shared her remarkable journey from holding a prestigious position as Deputy Director at NAFDAC in Nigeria to starting anew as a food server after relocating abroad. Identified as @rosyreal1 on TikTok, she took to the platform to recount her transition to life in North America.
According to her, her initial job in Canada was as a food server, following four months of unemployment. However, her fortunes changed when she eventually found employment as a Medical laboratory technician.
“God knows the end from the beginning. When I landed in Canada it took me 4 months to get my first job as a food server … today the story has changed for good,” she captioned her post, accompanied by a throwback photo of herself as a NAFDAC staff member, refuting claims of falsifying her background.
However, some skeptics questioned her narrative, doubting the possibility of leaving a lucrative job in Nigeria for a fresh start abroad. In response, she provided evidence of her past employment at NAFDAC to validate her claims.
