Oluwatobi Ogunmola, a 400-level Physics student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), who had been reported missing a few days ago, has been found dead. According to a reliable source on campus who spoke to The Punch, Ogunmola’s body was discovered hanging in a bush in Gambari, Ogbomoso, which is located within the Surulere Local Government area of Oyo State.
Aside from being a student, Ogunmola was also known to work as a mobile phone technician and solar system consultant. His passing has left many in shock and mourning, including his Facebook friend Adeleke Abel Ayoade, who wrote a tribute to him on social media.
“In times like this, we sympathize with the family of Ogunmola Taiwo on the death of their son who was found dead. The death came as a shock to everyone, especially the people of Gambari in Ogbomoso. He was a very calm and reserved brother. We pray to God to console the family and rest the soul of the deceased.”
